By accessing or using ClassGate, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Access

• Only authorized users approved by the school administration may access ClassGate
• User accounts are personal and non-transferable
• Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
• Users must notify the school immediately of any unauthorized access to their account
• The school reserves the right to suspend or terminate access at any time

3. Acceptable Use

ClassGate must be used solely for educational and school administrative purposes. Users agree to:

• Use the system in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations

• Maintain a professional and respectful tone in all communications
• Not upload harmful, illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Not share login credentials with anyone

4. Responsibilities of Users

Students:

• Use the platform responsibly and for educational purposes only
• Submit work honestly and maintain academic integrity
• Report any technical issues or security concerns to teachers or administrators
• Follow all school policies and guidelines when using ClassGate

Teachers & Staff:

• Keep student records accurate and up-to-date
• Protect student privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Use the system in accordance with school policies and procedures
• Report any suspicious activity or security breaches immediately
• Provide timely feedback and maintain professional communication standards

Parents & Guardians:

• Access only information related to your own child(ren)
• Keep login credentials secure and confidential
• Communicate professionally with school staff through the system
• Monitor your child's academic progress and attendance regularly
• Update contact information promptly when changes occur

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Attempting to hack, bypass security measures, or access unauthorized data
• Sharing or distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonating another user or creating false accounts
• Harassing, bullying, or threatening other users
• Uploading or sharing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Using automated tools to scrape or extract data from the system
• Interfering with the proper functioning of ClassGate
• Attempting to sell, license, or commercially exploit access to ClassGate
• Violating any local, state, or federal laws while using the system

6. Consequences of Violations

Violations of these Terms may result in:

• Immediate account suspension or termination
• School disciplinary action in accordance with school policies
• Legal action and liability for damages caused
• Referral to law enforcement for criminal violations
• Loss of access to school technology resources

The severity of consequences will be determined by the nature and extent of the violation, as well as the user's history of compliance.

7. School Authority

The school administration retains full authority over:

• Managing and controlling user access to ClassGate
• Monitoring system usage to ensure compliance with these Terms
• Investigating suspected violations and taking appropriate action
• Modifying access permissions based on user roles and responsibilities
• Implementing additional policies or procedures as needed

8. Agreement Through Enrollment

By enrolling in the school or accepting employment with the school, parents, students, teachers, and staff agree to these Terms. Parents and guardians agree to these Terms on behalf of their minor children. Continued use of ClassGate constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any updates made to them.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the system or by email. Continued use of ClassGate after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

ClassGate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to maintain a secure and reliable system, we are not liable for any damages resulting from system downtime, data loss, unauthorized access, or other technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
